Then LFC-LCFC, George Norrie is the man until the right man can be found maybe with Ryan Elderton, no point in rushing into the wrong choice when the club has a very good man already there.

Haven't heard officially but believe it's Garry Hunter in charge tomorrow night,And possibly until a new manager is chosen

If that's true is he playing or in dugout ? Seems strange, would Man city put Yaya Toure in charge if Pellegrine went, No they would use Reserve management.

Suppose the question is what do the club want? Someone to galvanise the current squad or a manager to bring a load of lads in.

I think both are needed, some good players at the club but maybe there stale & SOME not many new players would give them a bit of competition for places & make them raise their game .

When I've seen Riggers at football to talk to the knowledge he has of local and non league football with a passion for it is unbelievable. Looking forward to hearing the decision they makechelseabilly wrote:Prestondolly, that's a great shout about riggers.Tony as a lot of respect for Paul so could see that working

Firstly, Darren and Trev deserve our gratitude and sincere thanks for all the work that they have put in. I understand that Darren was effectively working a six day week for the club.
Secondly, I would love to see Tony back. I agree that the 2009/10 side played superb football, but for me the side which he created during his first spell played the best football I have seen in over 50 years of Dollywatching. His dismissal three years ago was the worst thing to happen to the club since the Season from Hell. A team-up with Riggers also sounds good. But as people have said, the question is would they be interested?
A third point as raised by Conmac End. The person who was good at raising sponsorship was Mick Hoyle, but Mick Hoyle and Tony Hesketh couldn't be combined.
Huge support needed tomorrow, as people have said.

I was all for Gascoigne when he was touted for the position circa 2005 and my opinion hasn't changed. He's speaking at the Grand Theatre at the end of October where I'm sure he could be approached .

Gascoigne? You are joking I hope. I'll just say one word in response - Kettering.
