Neil Crossley had crossed my mind actually, good up and coming manager who seems to have a good turnover of players at Garstang. I think whoever wants or gets the job, it's all about the budget we've got. Unlesss theres a pot of gold awaiting the next boss which I doubt. I think the style of football is also important and the TH team of 2009/10 was the best, personally, ive ever seen at the Axe.

A lot of people are passionate about Lancaster but it do'snt mean they are right for the job, Neil Crossley based on what ? What about Paul Rigby at Slyne, did a great job with the reserves & is doing a good job at slyne, 3rd in league last season & lfa cup semi finalists as well, how about Riggers & Tony Hesketh .

I agree. Dream team. Riggers played under Tony and then came back to Lancaster to assist George with the reserves he stepped up and managed them until the end of the season when George moved up to the first team. Riggers coaches the youth locally, he has the knowledge of the game and playing for Lancaster, Local lads respect (often watched him when they were young) and if we're talking about a love for the club then that's him. Tony will have his own assistant perhaps but I have thought for many time that they should have Riggers back involved with the club in some way....reserve manager perhaps.

Can I throw Ryan Elderton in the mix ??
But by all accounts it appears the majority of fans would like to see Neil Crossley or Tony Hesketh with Garry Hunter or Marshy as an assistant, I truly hope whoever gets the job bleeds blue !!

Then when it turns out neither the club or TH is interested we'll be stumped

Wasn't impressed by Neil Crossley when he was Stimmo's assistant.
