New manager

I suppose we'd better mention that we have one. The fictional 10 game unbeaten run in the announcement is not a promising start.

Let's hope for the best, although I wouldn't recommend reading the Ramsbottom forum if you don't want to be downbeat.

The initial question must be to whom does the claim of a fictional unbeaten run belong? Is it a false claim made by our new manager? Unless he's totally stupid that seems unlikely......results are obviously an indisputable public record. An honest mistake by whoever wrote the article perhaps? A dishonest one maybe?

Anyway, let's just welcome Mark Fell & hope for the best!

Rammy follower here in peace. Stats wise 1 defeat in 10 when he took over sole charge is more accurate, but did go from 18th to 10th then a points deduction in the 16/17 season derailed things.

Last year very inconsistent, performed against the top teams, lost against the bottom ones, decent FA trophy run that dispatched Shaw Lane and Stalybridge. Played decent football this season but not got a striker to find the net and that's showed.

4 or 5 very very vocal fans took a dislike to him and went more recently on a massive campaign to get rid, but everyone within the club spoke very highly and I hope he does well

Thanks Sumdger,it's good to hear another point of view. I & I assume all other LCFC fans hope that your point of view is closer to the truth.

By the way....no need to tell us that you came in peace,I dont think there was ever an issue between our clubs,just a couple of individuals.
