How is everyone feeling about Saturday? Excited? confident? apprehensive? It should be a good test against another side that competed for the play-offs last time round. Sadly there would appear to be several sides that seem to have money to burn (certainly in comparison to the likes of ourselves) on wages, so I can see this being a difficult season. I am hoping to be still competing for the play off places by early next (calendar) year & then see where we go if maybe one or two have reduced their wage budget if they arent top of the table.
I guess reading that back that I would have to put myself in the "apprehensive" group

Excited but not confident. Just happy to have football back!

Hoping for 110% effort from the lads and a few goals

Lancaster folk don't do "confident" both from our inbuilt pessimism and from painful experience.  

I'm the same as jonny. I am always excited about a new season, but would never presume confidence. That grows with a good season, I never have it at the start (side effect of 20yrs following Everton, i suppose).

Can't wait for Saturday though
