I don't suppose it's often that by the afternoon of the day following the match there's been no comment on it. Fair to say that anyone who had thought about going but changed their mind made a good decision.
Kilifin had a chance at the very start of the game, but apart from a couple of long range shots there was really very little from City as an attacking threat.
Defensively DP will have been very disappointed. The first goal was pushed over the line from close range, the second was a free header from a handful of yards out from a right wing cross and the third came immediately after several of our players seemed to have lost their discipline after getting wound up regarding some nonsense following a throw in. The ball quickly went to the other end of the pitch and the Farsley substitute shot home from the right hand side (again) of the area.
So that's the cup season finished: let's get the match out of the system and look to play ten times better against a decent Northwich side at the weekend.

Do not think it helped with the coach being 45 minutes late players standing around in the cold waiting for it. The same thing happened at Bamber Bridge and Osset Town. We all know we can play a lot better than that. Farsley looked good on the night but not sure if that was because of our poor performance. It will soon be forgotten if we can keep winning in the league.
