Farsley

Looking at the fact that Farsley are still in two cup competitions and will be playing Tuesday/Saturday/Tuesday for pretty much the rest of the season, a draw may not be the worst result on Saturday.

We all know on our day we're the best team in this league, but our day hasn't been so frequent since the turn of the year. Hopefully a good few down to Giant Axe tomorrow and more vocal support for the boys

I'd personally play Conny and Mayers up front. The forward line that put 4 past Farsley at their place.

Agree that a draw wouldn't be a disaster, but a defeat might just be a real definitive blow.
I'd like to see us play 4-4-2 as well, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see us line up as we did on Tuesday.

Great comeback today, fantastic team spirit, but it can't disguise the fact that we were rubbish for 65 minutes. Hopefully this will also take some of the wind out of Farsley's sails, they looked understandably gutted at the end.Ryan Winder's goals were both class, the equaliser must be a goal of the season contender!
Proof that we need to play 4-4-2 ? I hate playing one up font at home & more importantly Connie looks like he hates it too!

I wasn't at the game, but would it be fair to say that the introduction of Mayers and the switch to 4-4-2 was what won it for us?

I have been corrected by one of the players who informed me that we were playing 4-3-1-2 when we scored. The "2" bit was the difference in my opinion

Unbelievable comeback today. Agree that we were very poor up to the last 15 or so minutes, but the ability to turn a game around is a sign of a title winning side. Could be a season defining result.

Got to be two up top for Tuesday and onwards. Got to be. Especially with Kilifin back we have enough strikers to rotate.

We suggested Farsley might be ripe for shipping a few goals.
We put 3 passed them late on in the game at their place too. They've not got 90 minutes in them....just hope a few other teams take note & are prepared to chase a lost cause if they find themselves behind to them.
So we've scored about 30% of the league goals Farsley have conceded in the whole season up to now.
Onwards & upwards.

Just hope we go for the jugular tomorrow night. 4 4 2...NMBAWA
