Farsley

Behind twice against a team that had won its previous 4 home league games & won 4-2 . Up to 4th in the table with games in hand. To paraphrase the Matrix film. ...I'm beginning to believe
Great result boys & showing real character by all accounts. #COYDB

Yeah, i'm trying my very best to keep the feet on the ground but it's getting harder by the week. Another tremendous result by the
boys, well done. All done without Jacob Gregory which is full praise indeed to the squad and the players that can come in and do a job. Never felt more like Singing The Blues etc etc.

Anyone who read the Twitter feed would realise that up to around about the 75 minute mark the match was pretty nondescript and City were very ordinary. Mike Hale, who would probably have been disappointed with the first Farsley goal, made several outstanding saves and the home team certainly hit the woodwork twice and maybe three times as well as having a few crosses flying across the goal with no one there to apply the finishing touch.
Credit where credit's due though, City hung on in and were never more than one goal behind. After Westwood had equalised from the corner City hit another gear and Farsley's heads dropped somewhat, although they did fashion out another chance when the score was 2-2. Connerton scored two more late on to put the icing on the cake, but it's probably fair to say the scoreline flattered City. Be that as it may, it was brilliant for the lads to come back and get a great away win against a team which had won all its home games and conceded very few goals.

Danny Shearwood hasn't been involved for a while, does anyone know if he is still with the club ?
