Gainsborough

Typical! After a great game last week, the other lot are away & the weather is dog pants. That'll keep a few away this afternoon I'm afraid.
I'm hoping for a game as exciting as last week's & a similar result

I'm afraid that hope is not a great deal of use at the moment: another disappointment.

I thought it was beyond disappointing. MF said in his interview that we were poor in the first half, but better in the second. We certainly had more of the ball in their half, but the keeper made what? Two saves maybe? To have that much of the ball & have two only shots on target & then get done twice from our own corners smacks of poor to me.
We need something new up front. Jacob H-W was neutered by playing at the top of the pitch rather than out wider. Killer worked hard but got nowhere. I'd have given MOTM to Paul Dawson

non-plussed really, game seemingly devoid of any passion or guile. How many forwards can we play in wide positions?
