It's only a bit of banter lighten up Banning songs will stop people coming.
Because that, alongside songs telling opposition supporters to "fuck off home," does not create a family friendly atmosphere.
It may be viewed as banter by some, but the reputation of the club should come first. And if someone doesn't want to come to support LCFC because they can't sing a song that would be pretty embarrassing in all honesty.

What is embarrasing is that your getting upset over a chant

Football songs don't offend me, I couldn't care less on a personal level. But you know what I do care about? Lancaster City FC and trying to ensure everyone who comes to Giant Axe has the best experience possible so they come back in the future. That includes our push to get families and youngsters down to the ground as that is the future of the club.
Don't know why I need to keep repeating that it's about doing what's best for the football club. Seems pretty open-and-shut to me.
Also, these aren't just my views. They're the views of all club officials, the Supporters' Club, and the majority of supporters that I've spoken to. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though.

Personally, I find the use of bad language in public offensive at any time. It's not necessary and extremely inconsiderate of other people's feelings.
It is also evidence of a lack of vocabulary, as is the misuse of the word "your".

Oh no the spell checking police are here. What is wrong with people these days? getting offended by the slightest thing so you can have a winge there's no swearing in the chant anyway the song is not aimed at you I hope your feelings are not hurt. #shedarmy!

I (along with a lot of other people who do more than I do) put a lot of time & effort into LCFC & I don't want anyone put off coming down otherwise, what's the point of my hard work?
I'm still not sure what chant we are talking about & I'm not really all that bothered, nor am I aware of any issue over flags. What I am bothered about is anyone using racist or offensive language or behaviour, & people being aggressive towards or even worse fighting with visiting fans (I don't know who it is & I'm not pointing any fingers)
My grandchildren are getting to the age where I want to start bringing them down to watch & I don't want them feeling uncomfortable, or to have to explain why some things are being shouted or sung. We're a family club

Fully agree alasher the song in question has no racist or foul language in it if it did I to would be against it but this song is just a bit of banter that's all no need to try and ban it

I have no idea what this chant is, so I can't comment on its content, but obviously people connected with the club find it to be unacceptable, so if you care about the club, why not stop singing it? If I said I hated Jews and wanted all Muslims killed, would that be regarded as "a bit of banter"?
