However, I have to take exception with you here Jan. This club has had numerous exceptionally good keepers over the years, & while Martin would rate highly amoung them, if you havent seen the likes of Glenn Johnstone (is that the correct spelling of his surname?) Brian Newman, Stuart Murdoch, Jamie Speare & my own favourite Mark Thornley, you havent seen the best keeper in the world! I think that this topic could be worthy of a thread of it's own!!

Ironically, Martin turned down a relatively big money move to Rammy when he was with us, and they were a division below. On the subject of another ex-Dolly, my Oldham informant tells me that Rhys Turner started up front against Rotherham, and "showed some good touches and plenty of energy" before running out of steam against a physically stronger side and being subbed. A few days later, he scored a hat-trick for the reserves.
