Droylsden Empty Droylsden

Did nobody tell Droylsden's defenders that Fred Karno's Circus has gone out of business, so there is no point auditioning for it? That must be the most comical defending I have ever seen. It's good that we took advantage--Simon's volley was sublime--and that Mike Hale was on good form, as their attack was a different proposition. Now on to Spennymoor Very Happy .

Very pleased to hear that the Town had a convincing victory today over the Bloods even though I was at Deepdale. How long before the Dollies' local derby is against Slackpool?

Fair play to the Bloods for sticking to their principals re playing it out from the back, but as we discovered when we tried to do it too often, firstly players at this level simply arent good enough to do it (more so on a bobbly pitch like ours) & secondly word gets round & the opposition are ready to put pressure on the ball & it ends up being given away. I thought we probably should've scored more goals yesterday, but as Brocker said, it was good that the defence played pretty well & a clean sheet is always good.
We are having a good run towards the end of the season......I really hope we can carry this kind of play into the next one!!

Droylsden were hilarious, but the score at half time could have been about 5-2. I was sensing another Wakefield Shocked

Fairly entertaining game, marred slightly by the physical assault on Garry Hunter.
