Droylsden 2 - 0 City

This isn't good enough for our football club. Well beaten by another shite team without even looking like scoring.

I left with 15 minutes to go. Didn't want to be there any more.

What's TH up to these days?

Couldn't go to day as working, from all accounts we were shocking,don't think TH will come anywhere near at the moment unless he his given complete control of 1st team and also pick the reserve team manager.We need to start putting results together very quickly if not this could be a disaster of a season.Its not easy to find any positives at the moment but we as fans have to believe things will get better

Well I'm glad I went to watch slyne,as by all accounts Lancaster were very poor, The city management if they are still in a job soon need to get out & watch Slyne they have 5 or 6 lads who would not let Lancaster down including Josh wardle who cannot get a sniff at city, Come on DP & TS get out & look for new players, by the way at Slyne football played with passion & skill not just boring negative passing sideways & backwards.

Wasn't there so I can't comment on today's game, but I want to ask the following? Were last Tuesday's team changes caused by injuries or loss of form? Or does anyone think that perhaps the players aren't "buying into" the way we are playing?

Good shout alasher, the way of playing clearly is'nt working so it needs changing, it''a ok having your belief in your way of playing when your winning but City are'nt winning so something needs changing, the players maybe do'nt believe in the system, something needs to change & soon .

Forget what I said before about cheering up. Having seen it for myself today I'm as depressed as I was after we lost the playoff final a few years ago. To lose to a side as poor as Droylsden in a game we dominated for long periods is really galling. We seem to have no end product for all the possession we have in games.I agree with the comments that the system isn't working at present. We need to get the ball into the opposition's area much more quickly if we are to start winning games.

There have been a number of games where we've had lots of possession without ever looking like scoring. This one was the worst, as their defence was so woeful you can see how even Burscough scored 3 past them.

We are far too cautious and slow when we're attacking, and when we do attack there is so much hesitation before shooting it's beyond frustrating!

Away support is falling as well as the home support. That's usually a good indicator of how the season is going.

I already said in another thread that Droylsden and Farsley (2nd bottom and 3rd bottom) should be two wins without excuses. If we don't beat Farsley at home then we'll be in a relegation battle already...and we thought complaining about being mid-table was bad!

Slow possession football as this level is fucking boring.

Won First Division of West Lancs, and Presidents Cup with Fulwood Amateurs last season. Currently 2nd in West Lancs Premier Division.
