Hope we'll see plenty of Dollies old & new at the Macron this evening & that we give Chorley a real game. We'll have to play at 100% to have a chance but it's a one off game, anyone can win! How about Killer x2 Winder & Carney in a 4-2 Dolly Blue win?

There's a game tonight?
Hopefully a good showing from our support to spur the lads on. Chorley are the favourites and we have nothing to lose. Anything can happen in a cup final though!

Tremendous performance, turning point Zach's effort hitting the bar, we were brilliant on the break although final ball was not the best. Thought Chorley have turned into a long ball side. Plenty of positives and won easily off the field.

Fantastic performance, the quality and attitude just about manages to stop me crying about the fact we had the chances to win the game. Football League level support by the Dolly Ultras, you're welcome.

Hand on heart, before the game I expected us to struggle. On the night that simply wasn't the case. You could see that the Chorley front-line had quality, but if you'e paying the money for Dean, Connerton & Dorney you'd expect nothing less. Stephenson was good too when he came on, & you could see that our back-line was stretched at times, but it didn't break. In fact, their defence, especially the fullbacks looked worried throughout. If we had held our nerve in the second half when we broke 2 & 3 against 2 we would've won easily.
Well done to all the players, i would have been fitting to give Marshy a winning send-off at the Macron, but it wasn't to be.
Great to see so many supporting Lancaster, hope they turn up on Saturday when we look for a final play-off push.Great noise from our lot, I barely heard Chorley

Heroic performance from everyone in a yellow shirt (and, of course, Mike Hale). Not only brave but outstanding in terms of quality of play. I just hope that the lads can reproduce that form in the bread and butter of the League, and press on to the playoffs and beyond. Ditto the many who turned up to support.
Wasn't it strange how this was a mirror image of our semi? The lower ranked side leading for much of the game, and conceding an equaliser after a penalty save only for the shoot-out to go bottom up.
All the best to Chorley, who played their part, especially to the Chorley Dollies.
Onwards and upwards , City!!

Having done further research Stephenson is the man for them (especially since Hine left) so no surprise he made a difference when he came on. Dean has only scored twice all season it would seem, and Connerton was anonymous on Monday night.

I thought he did his job and held the ball up well, that is his entire game until he reaches the box.

Let's say he was well marshalled (no pun intended) by our defence then (who ought to know his game well enough).

The lads did us proud. Despite the result, best City game I've ever been to.
I was very happy to see the City of Lancaster come out and support us at long last!
