Alex Johnson scored Halifax's first goal in their BSN semi-final playoff 2nd leg win. Playoff final to come against Brackley.

he's been class for us lately, great engine on him.
Just came on here to say less than a week from a potential return to the promise land that we all still remember where it all started, that season was a battle from start to finish.
still keep an eye on how you do too, hope you eventually get the promotion you deserved that season.

Personally i never rated him, despite the amount of goals he scored that season, we tried him for a year in the league were in now and you could see he'd gone past his level, unbelievably we offered him a new deal this year luckily he turned it down and went to Fylde.
he's found his level and he hasnt exactly fired them in for fun with them this season

James Dean...the man who boasted the 4-0 game was "men against boys", with us having an average squad age of 21 and a wage budget about 1/10th the size of Halifax. Wanker. Glad he ended up too big for his own boots.
AJ on the other hand, top guy. Glad to hear he's doing well at such a high level. We've certainly had a fair amount of strikers find their way into the Conference and higher in the last few years with Connerton, Hattersley, Bunney, AJ and Turner. Although not sure if Turner is still at Stockport. What a player he was.
