While I've lowered my expectations for this season to hopes of mid-table consolidation & building for 2016/17 this is the kind of game we need to be looking to win to help build some momentum in that direction. It'd be good to get our first win under PJB at home this afternoon, so let's get behind the lads

Well we made heavy weather of that in the end didn't we? Good to see us scoring more goals but we really need to be keeping clean sheets too in games like this. We looked good right up to the point when their keeper had to be subbed then we seemed to ease off & paid for that towards the end. We scored three good goals & but for an offside flag that would've been four but we did look exposed immediately after the first two which we need to work on.
Overall a decent performance but there's still lots to work on. Moving in the right direction though #PJBBWA

Yes, whilst not being there, when we were 3-0 up it looked like a good chance to get back into a positive goal difference and maybe score five. In the end no doubt there were a few nervous moments. The Evo-Stik website gives every late goal as 90 minutes, when was Ossett's second actually scored, 90+3, 90+4? Just wondering how long there was for us to hang on!

Just read that guy's blog on Twitter and seen that the ref indicated 5 minutes to add on and OT scored in the third of those.
I bet as much as Phil would have been delighted with the win, he would have been equally annoyed about conceding a couple.

First 70 minutes was the best football I've seen at Giant Axe in years. Last 20 minutes maybe we tired and the two goals were silly to give away, but we never looked like we wouldn't win.
A welcome three points. Hopefully the first of many more if we can replicate that form
