There are two very decent strikers up at Kendal....Oh and they were both born in Lancaster..one is scoring for fun..i don't care what hes done in the past but I'd welcome JC back in a heartbeat. A Kilifin-Taylor-Connerton front three would frighten the hell out of this league. I still find it quite remarkable how Kendal have got our ex-players - Connerton,Bailey,Carney,Killer and we cannot seem to progress.

Quite correct SLP, not to mention Rob Henry, Aaron Helliwell, Rob Wilson and Zach Clark. So why do players want to leave Lancaster City, is it purely that Kendal are paying them 'x' amount extra or are there some more sinister reasons?sparrows left peg wrote:There are two very decent strikers up at Kendal....Oh and they were both born in Lancaster..one is scoring for fun..i don't care what hes done in the past but I'd welcome JC back in a heartbeat. (Must mention of course that Bailey apparently left for footballing reasons).

I suppose the problem is that decent strikers cost money and we never seem to have any.
Liam Breslin in the ressies is meant to be sharp, think he's worth a run out

I think either of Breslin, Callum Connerton or Tam would be worth a run out.
The mentality of keep the ball at all times is making our attacks blunt as anything in my opinion. So many safe balls and rarely someone looking to just get a shot at goal.
It's not the Premier League. Nearly any shot at goal has a chance of going in/being spilled by the goalie at this level. Our attacking play should be aiming to work the goalkeeper, rather than being overly patient waiting for the perfect chance that, so far this season, comes about once a game and more than likely missed.
We've drawn the last three league games so three points in three games...I'd have rather won one, and lost the other two whilst going for the win.
Don't like playing for draws. We're not gonna get relegated, so cup competitions aside we might as well play some entertaining football, no? I'm sure I can't be the only one who isn't enjoying it all that much this season...

We need goals from all areas, strikers need good supply to score regularly,Don't think our midfield will score many,I know we shouldn't look at what ex players are doing but a friend of mine went to watch Kendal and said Sam Bailey ran the game scored and created many chances he couldn't believe we did not try him in midfield,Also he heard we are losing a young centre half to Kendal as he believes he is not wanted at Lancaster.

Hi Everyone, Newbie to the forum here. Do please note that I have been watching the Dolly Blues for some time and I've only just decided to join the forum.
Well my opinion (see my user name) that Saturday was not a quality performance by any means.
Please do disagree with me but this is how I saw our teams performance
Hale 7
Gregory 6
Hudson 6
Marshall 7
Davis 5
Hunter 7
Winder 6
Akrigg 6
Antoine-Clarke 7
Whittington 6
Taylor 6
We were lucky to draw ! and using what looked like Tails on his own up front was a poor decision. We only kicked on when we went behind and should have folded them up and sent Glossop home with a hammering but instead after we scored we retreated, They should have been scared to death of facing the mighty dolly's but instead out ran us, out thought us and out battled us. Lets hope for a good reaction from the lads on Saturday !

Unfortunately the club are still awaiting international clearance from the Malaysian FA for Hanu. I'm sure he'll be involved as soon as it comes through.

My apologies, I was led to believe clearance had come through and he was being left out for footballing reasons.
