Yes, a lot of very good performances - in particular I reckon Bailey, Winder and Taylor all deserved at least 8 out of 10, maybe 9. I know some people have already written off our chances of making the playoffs, but if we can put in a few more performances like that the we've got to stand a chance.

If only we could avoid those regular bouts of the collywobbles. At 3-1, after giving away a silly penalty, we suddenly looked panicky, and better Burscough finishing would have revived memories of Padiham, or even Ossett Town. Dodger's arrival steadied the ship: the other players seemed to retrieve confidence through his display of class. Clearly again the good folk of Lancaster preferred sitting on their backsides watching televised stuff to viewing the real thing Evil or Very Mad .

Yes, the attacking players (the names mentioned stood out) looked good and did well. Albeit that Burscough didn't look up to much. But then as Brocker says the ability to turn a comfortable lead into something more backs to the wall reared its ahead again. We dropped off in intensity, and I don't know what DP's instructions are but it would have been nice to see better pressing for a period there (albeit that they are semi-pro so you can't expect Barca in their prime).
