Agreed it was an entertaining game and happy we ran out winners, probably just about deserved in the end. Shame we couldn't find the 3rd to polish off the win.

Attendance at 220 wasn't too bad either.

Impressed by Josh Donnelly today, and thought Rob Walker and Simon Wearing had good cameo roles. A couple of excellent saves from Mike Hale. Not good to see Scholesy having to be helped off.

We weren't quite at our best but we were good enough and deserved to win. Agree that Donnelly was the highlight - much better than his previous cameos. He reminds me of Max Rothwell - slight, skilled, quick, and even looks a bit like him. He's not yet sufficiently strong but he's still a very young lad and could turn into a pretty good player.
