Ressies v Stalybridge

Thought a few more might have been down with Connerton playing  Tonight was actually the lowest attendance of any reserves game this season.

Lost 3-2 in a great game of football. City should have won in all honesty, missed so many chances. Conny played well whilst understandably looking short of match fitness. Goals came from Josh Donnelly and Billy Akrigg.

That was my first Ressies game since the Final {Rhys Turner hat-trick} and I thoroughly enjoyed it.Great game. In all honesty,Connie should have had two or three and a defo penalty, yet when the same thing happened in our box, the ref pointed to the spot. Though he didn't score, the touches were there and the ability to lead the line was obvious. Goals will follow, i'm sure as soon as he gets his fitness back. I also thought Josh Donnelly was excellent on the right-wing.

Yeah was good game. Willzy was class.
