Ressies No More !

My friend has just sent me the clubs weekly bulletin and I see we have disposed of our ressies - now what is Prestondolly going to shout about ? (not having a go friend, just a passing observation) although I do think Prestondolly had a point, we didn't really use our ressies to their full potential or support them as much as we could/should have.

And I had noted a few are now up at Kendull !

Still, lets crack on and get a friend to a game, not good to see gates as they are ! lets get behind Phil and the lads. COYDB

Sad if reserves have gone, where are players coming back from injury or suspension going to play, Jacob Davies recently played for reserves to keep his fitness up while suspended, still some of you will be happy now, ALL that extra money for the 1st team & I hope the lads who have gone to Kendal do'nt come back & make lancaster regret not giving them a chance(previous management not current manager ) to blame if they do, good luck to them all.

Not one word on website about reserves, this just about sums up a lot of people's attitude towards reserves NO interest, Mark Knight seemed to be the only one in an official capacity interested.

I suppose the person who runs the club website is waiting for the 'official' nod to put it on, I'm only guessing that's why it's not on yet Prestondolly. Sad that it has to come out via the bulletin rather that the clubs official website first though.

The decision was only made in a meeting last night and formalities with the Lancashire League still need to be completed.

The supporters bulletin is there to give you the inside track, not the official one. You have been informed of a decision that is IN PROCESS.

All these little swipes at the club are getting on my tits. On any reserves home game you would find the first team management, the chairman, vice chairman, first and reserves secretary stood in the freezing cold.

Too much moaning from parts of our fan base at the minute. We are lucky to even have a football club after the past decade. All the moaners need to ask themselves are they doing everything they can to help the club at the moment, because we need all the help we can get and some positive attitudes would be a help.

Are you in the fans fund? Can you increase it at all? Do you have friends who could join our even come to games? Are you in the Gold Bond? Do you have friends or family who could join? Could you even sacrifice an hour a week to be a collector? Is there anything else you can offer to the club that might help? Etc.

Rant over. I'm going to Bristol and hope for wins for both City's teams this weekend and no I'm not an official at MY club.

The previous 1st team management stayed to watch for 15 mins after they had trained before a reserve game, not getting involved in an argument with anybody on here. Finished commenting on forum as it would appear fans opinions do'nt matter. Thank you & good bye

I'm not having a go at the club or it's officials LFC-LCFC, I'm just sad to see our 2nd string disappearing that's all, but these things happen.

Ps I am in gold bond, And I think the guy who collects off us in all weathers does a great job, he's the guy who does the half time draw as well. So a big thank you to all from Top to Bottom who keep 'our' club alive and kicking.

Pay to get in 1st & reserves & contribute to all fund raising, so I think I do my bit lfc-lcfc so the answer is not NO you need to know your facts before commenting.

not great to pull out when the season as started but if it's for financial reasons then I fully understand as I have said before it must cost in the region of 6/7 thousand a year to run the reserves,The club could do deals with the likes of Garstang and slyne for players returning from injuries or even Tony heskeths team,This is not the first time we haven't had a reserve team when Alan Tinsley and Mick Hoyle were in charge they chose to have extra monies for the first team and we won the league and cup and managed to get playing time elsewhere for players coming back from injury.
