City 2 - 1 HRA

Controlled the game, created enough chances to win and did. Defence was superb up until the usual happened in injury time. Marshy was especially on form.
Simpson had a solid debut and was putting in some great crosses but overall our play in the final third wasn't the best today, first half especially. That said Harrogate were predictably more defensive than they were at their place.
On to Prescot

I thought Simpson was a class act.
Big wooden stand here we come, hopefully, depending on work.

Seemed like a decent performance, but its hard to judge as HRA wont be pulling up any trees again this season. I really wish we could've kept a clean sheet though! Simpson looks a decent prospect ( be easier to judge when he has played a few games & is fitter),Marshy & in particular Rob Wilson had good games.
Their keeper made an excellent save just before Danny headed our second goal, which three of his defenders decided to celebrate by having a game of statues (the one on the line lost because he did actually move his leg six inches as the ball past him)
