Magnificent result by the boys. Two out of two, we really do mean business.
What was the line-up, same as Sat ?

Yes, same starting XI as Saturday. Three subs used were winder (for akrigg), wearing (for Taylor) and Clark (for Jackson).

Superb result, but it could easily have gone wrong. We were hanging on in the first half, and could have gone 3-1 down in the second. Midfield never really got a grip on the game, and our fighting qualities were more in evidence than our passing game. Wearing's arrival transformed the game: he scored with his first touch, and had the shot against the post from which Killer fired home the winner. Last season we would have been more inclined to concede than to score in injury time: in fact, I would say that, with last season's disorganisation, we would have lost heavily, instead of being still there to deliver the knockout. Hard to pick a MoM: I think Jonny is going for Glenn Steel--couldn't argue with that, but Jacko's workrate and skill were again immense. Of the ex-Overluners, Wearing is looking an excellent prospect: Garry Hunter hasn't yet got into his stride, but no doubt it will come. Marshy immense again. All the lads deserve great credit for a battling performance right to the end.
Is Sean Reid, Wire's manager, even more obnoxious than Ashcroft?

Not like his brother Peter, cracking bloke, met him. Great little player too.
I am right in hearing someone in their dressing room ordering their players to 'break our legs'. If so, what an complete twat !
