Neglected to mention this as I wasn’t present.
Just beaten Darwen 2-0 in the LFA quarter finals, Charlie Bailey and Sloany the scorers.
Nice to see a clean sheet with young lads Ryan Graham and Ben Anderson in the side.
An hour for Yahaya and a debut (I think?) for Joel Davidson.
A 4th Leyland semi final in 7 years - bare in mind that’s 4 in 6 real seasons.
Let’s get like Man City with Wembley and be bored of Leyland!

I take your point, but I'd be bored of Leyland if we only went once every 20 years, it's a dump.
Great to progress in the LFA Trophy though & for a few fringe players to both get a run-out & return a clean sheet & a win. Another (predictably) poor attendance, this time sub one hundred.
Anyone that went have any thoughts?

I thought we were comfortable throughout the game. When we scored early it looked as if it may lead to a hatful of goals but we missed a few good chances and dropped our standards. Good to see Dowling back in goal to warm him up for Saturday.
We improved late in the game when one or two more experienced players came on. Their goalie was injured during the first 15 minutes so could not take their goal kicks which was another hindrance for them.
Their best player was Bobby Langford who had a spell with us a few years ago.
