Thought they were one of the better sides that have been to the axe this season. Lads ground it out and won ugly, all in all what a start!

Sublime free kick from Paul Dawson: amazing save--again--from Sam Ashton. Not impressed by the referee, who was card happy without ever getting on top of the physical stuff. Couldn't understand why, at goal kicks, he stood about ten yards away from one of his assistants, so leaving large areas of the pitch "unpatrolled". I hope Accy will extend Matty Wlliams' loan. It was good to see Jack Armer back.

I hope Accy do just that too, withThompson leaving we're very thin on the ground defensively.
Was on 2-10 so can't comment on the game, but Dawson's free kick looks like another cracker. Given everything I also think the crowd of 250+ was quite good. I feared less than 200
