We look so nervous at the start of the games. Phil Brown needs to be drumming into the players we are top of the league and the best team in it let's go out and destroy these.. oh and phil play 2 up front please we are at home and need to win ffs... On another note the ref had a shocker

We do seem really edgy at home. We get into the final third and freeze and two home games in a row without scoring isn't great reading. Was surprised the line-up wasn't shifted a bit more tonight in all honesty. Jacob Gregory has to start against Farsley.
All our best performances this season have been away from home which doesn't make sense. FFS lads it's our own ground we were backing you all game so just stick it in the net

Looked so much more dangerous when mayers came on and we went 4 4 2... can't help thinking that should of been line up at the start

I can see the Halifax scenario happening again we must beat Farsley on Saturday and start to increase the gap? We are the best team in the league - on our day

We have now failed to score in 7 of our 27 league games, which must be a worry for the final run-in. Clean sheets in the last two games is good. Having a sound defence is the basis of a title-winning side, but we do need to have a final product at the other end. So Saturday sees a clash of the two best defences in the league. Wonder what the score will be?

Hopefully you're right.
Farsley have started to leak a few lately....5 in the last 3? As opposed to about 17 in the previous 21? Summat like that anyway. So a high scoring game is quite possible.
I'm happy to see us line up as we have the last 2 games...I think it gives us a chance to get a grip of the game in midfield & build from there. Too many times we've been caught cold & conceded early in games. As already mentioned, it's pleasing to see us keeping a few clean sheets....we're looking much more solid with Steel back. They were a decent side last night but we were better after being given a bit of a run around in the first 20 minutes. We had quite a few decent efforts which we should have done better from.
I don't recall Hale having to make a save of any note?

I see Farsley have just won January's team of the month award, which should ensure victory for us on Saturday.
