I believe the last time we won the County of Lancashire Cup was 1975?

I know I was there but can't remember much about it. My brother took me as I recall and I think we beat Bacup Borough 1-0. I'm sure someone with a better memory than me can tell us who scored.

I was also there and remember it was 1-0. It was a game we expected to win easily. Was it also played at Bacup Borough.

It was indeed 1-0 against Bacup Borough, but it was played at a neutral venue, Great Harwood, who used to be quite a force in the NPL at the time.

There was some dispute about the scorer, but it was awarded to Rob Thomas, but then Rob used to claim a goal any time he was within ten yards of the ball!
