So that's the end of pre-season...a fair few new faces etc.

I'd take Mike Aspin back from Kendal when they run out of money, otherwise I'm pretty happy with that side. Decent bench of different options as well.

Bring on the Bersker.

That's not a bad side considering the turmoil we've SUPPOSED to been under but I'd make a few tweaks and because I couldn't get to yesterday's game, I don't know who we've signed or how good they are.
I'd have Freeland at RB and Gav Clark at LB but the long term aim has to be a proper right back. Don't know who Whittingham is, don't know if we've signed him or how good he is so maybe him or Reece Pearce for that role, if we are playing 4-4-2. AGAIN, if we've signed him, I'd have {once fit} Danny Carlton instead of Pooley up front because of his experience and an eye for goal. Has Simon Wearing gone or is he still with us ? And this Jaimie Street ? Not a relation of 70's hardman Jeff Street by any chance ? So after all that waffle I'd go.......

With regards to the vacant full back positions I'm undecided between Hudson and Clark. I'd insist on Freeland in the side, but not sure where. I think he's better on the right, but I also think Hudson should be in the side so most likely the same team as Jonny.

P.S. Hannu Tam is magic and will be taking goal kicks as well as getting on the end of them by Christmas.

Looks like this Whittingham is turning heads already. Done a bit of social media research and from what I can gather he's been at Preston. Anyone confirm?

Joe Whittington. Was best player on Saturday, if anything worringly too good for us. Was a Preston Youth, at Wrexham (academy) last season, at Fylde now.

Same team as alasher for me, not sure how fit Carlton is ever going to be.

I'm playing 4-1-3-2 Jan, with Garry switching between providing some cover for the back four & being our play-maker. If that doesn't work it's easy to switch to 4-4-2
