Seaham not a bad side saw them win in the Vase at Atherton Coll last season

Marske Utd won Div 1 and Seaham Red Star won Div 2 of the Northern League last season, so it's a tough start. A repeat of last season would be nice but 1-0 will do.

By the way, it is rumoured that the FA is cutting prize money for both competitions. Does anyone have definite info about that?

Marske is near Redcar and I think Seaham is County Durham?

Seaham indeed in Co. Durham, on the coast.

Prize money for Extra Preliminary Round is £1,500 to the winners & for the Preliminary Round is £1,925 which are the same as last years. These are mentioned at the top of the draw for each of those two rounds made yesterday. More details in next Saturday's programme
