Been a while since we’ve had one off but surely tomorrow is in danger from the weather

The weather being pants on an FAT day is becoming a bit of a theme over the last couple of years! Hopefully the Axe will live up to its reputation for draining and the game will go ahead. I think we'll win if it does. I'm going for 3-0. What do you think?

I think that is what is called grinding out a win. WA will be disappointed not to have forced a replay, claiming the handball was in the area, and rattling the bar in the second half, yet for all their possession I don't recall Sam Ashton making a save. Well done the defence yet again, and now with Ben waiting in the wings.
Blinks is looking sharp. It was good to see Brad return, but he is clearly in need of game time. I hope that Matty Williams' loan will be extended. Hoping for a home draw: otherwise it will be a long wait for a home game.

Without Dawson our midfield looked imbalanced again to me. Second half I thought we were pretty unimpressive. Not sure that Jack Armer is a wing back either, think he looks much better as a marauding conventional fullback.

poor game but sometimes you have to win that way if you' re to be successful. Also hope that Matty Williams can stay I think he is a class player and shows great potential.
