A pretty gruesome game. There would have been no goals this side of the weekend had it not been for our act of charity at the back. Our stand-in keeper did all that could reasonably be asked of him, and had no chance with the goal. At least the home fans were happy. Where is Dodger these days, as a matter of interest?

So much for me hoping for 17 points from our last 7 games. I suppose if we win all six of the remaining games we'll exceed that but it's highly unlikely. We certainly have a big problem scoring goals and it's costing us dearly against weaker opponents. We've dropped points against quite a few of the teams below us and that'll need to change next season if we're to mount a serious challenge.

Does he really have the enthusiasm and desire to play for the Dollies or anybody, in fact ? He likes a 'pull' and a strain, and I think he would rather use his energy to develop his "academy." if only he had the attitude of his dad, Kevin, who was a regular with Netherfield in the late 70s and 80s when they were a pretty decent Northern Premier League outfit.
