A late Garry Hunter winner seals our first three points of 2015, with a clean sheet thrown in.
No one can deny that there is still much to do,starting with a very tough game v Brig on Saturday, but it's a start.Let's hope we can build on this & work towards being a force next season!

You make it seem like we'd been waiting a while for the first points of the year.

You excel at putting a negative slant on other people's views. I believe you have found a niche for yourself. Perhaps all that time supporting PKE hasn't been wasted after all

A result ground out in atrocious conditions. We created nothing first half against the wind. Mike Hale scrambled one effort away, and another Clitheroe shot was just wide. Second half we took advantage of the wind. Poole had a hooked shot pushed against the inside of the post by the keeper, the ball running across the face of the goal. Jacob Davis had a header cleared off the line. Finally a clinical finish by Garry. What a novelty to score an 89th minute winner rather than concede. The lads put in a tremendous shift and must be shattered.

I would say it's a touch sarcastic perhaps but hardly negative, my positive-thinking Gloomfield Road friend .
