Clitheroe Empty Clitheroe

I suppose the absence of comment says it all--it was nowt to write home about. At least we didn't concede our customary last minute goal there, and it was worth going just to see Scholesy's goal--a sublime pass from Jacko, and what a finish. Hope the lads have now got a poor display out of their systems, ready to show the real LCFC at Curzon.

Odd game. We were clearly the better team in terms of individual footballers, but just never seemed to click on the night.

To be honest, it felt like a game we'd win obviously up until the whistle. Just never happened though despite all those "nearly"s. We'd have lost that game in almost every season previous. One positive!

Hunter, Jacko and Killer all top class. If we hadn't gifted them their first I think we'd have won at a canter. Onwards and upwards. Need to improve 100% on Saturday.
