Fans's fund

Just to update those who weren't either at the "meet the manager" event on Monday or on the fans' fund mailing list (if there is anyone whose email addy I don't have, then please let me know it) the latest.

As an indication of how important the fans' fund contribution is to the club, we were entered into the K-club draw for kit sponsorship. Unfortunately we weren't among the winners, but the fact that we were entered means that we will be the match day sponsors for a home game this coming season, & as such be eligible for the hospitality offered to such. There are currently 42 people that make a monthly contribution to the fans' fund, which means that there will be too many for all of us to attend as sponsors. I am suggesting that once we know which game we will be the sponsor for that members of the FF who are able & wish to attend the game as our representatives put their names forward & then we will draw out as many names as there are places available & that they then act as the club's guests & our representatives at the game in question. This would of course be open to anyone who joins the FF from now on also, so I hope that this may act as an incentive for more people to join. Just to finish for anyone who isn't already aware, the FF will be giving the club £250/week towards player's wages for the coming season. This is a truly fantastic effort, & thank you on behalf of the club to everyone involved

Thank you for that, but tbh I wasn't intending putting my name into the draw. I think that we need to encourage as many people as possible to join in & if the chance of going as a match sponsor helps one more person join the FF then so much the better.

looking from afar it looks by the results that we might have landed a decent squad and manager this season,so fingers crossed the boys can do well this year and make me feel that the bit I give accually is helping our club be up the top....(fingers crossed)
