Is there any truth in the rumour that Chris has left the club? Also it looks like Josh has gone to Garstang, although I'm not sure if it's permanent or not.

I hope the number of players leaving means the club are clearing the decks for a few incoming transfers. The turnover of arrivals at the club is pretty bleak compared to other clubs. The weekly bulletin we receive every Friday from Keith Winder {great job Keith where would my Fridays be without it} has mentioned over the last few weeks of players coming in but as yet none....unless it happens today of course. Don't know what the players budget is like but according to Lawrence Looney he is leaving us on a sound financial footing.

League Cup
28/1/2018, 12:10
I see our cup game v Warrington has been postponed yet again. I wonder if it'll ever get played.
The 3 rd round is being played this week and we haven't played the second round yet. I know it's not top of our priority list but I think we would have had a good chance of progressing as Warrington are in the Trophy next Saturday so would probably have rested quite a few. With both sides playing midweek league games in February we will have a lot of catching up to do in this competition. Do the league games take precedence over the league cup? Not sure why we have to go all the way to Rushall on a Tuesday night in February.

Are you sure it’s off TC? It’s showing on the Evo Stik site for Wednesday.

Warrington playing in Cheshire Senior Cup on Monday. Apparently County Cups take precedence. BTW I thought I'd put this on a new thread. Beaten by technology again.

If true that's very bad news as he was playing so well before his injury.
I expect he's disappointed at not getting straight back into the side; I assumed Phil was just easing him back gently after such a long time out.

There was talk of Gav going to Kendal on Saturday, which if true is a big blow as he's a good utility player and has a strong character on the pitch as well. As I've mentioned in a previous post, its about time we saw a couple of incomings.
