It was with great sorrow that I was informed of the passing of Jimmy wade, Jimmy was a long standing volunteer at Lancaster for many years in the 80/90s, Jimmy had been ill for a while but he managed to get down to watch a few games towards then end of last season, RIP pie man

That's sad news. Jimmy was a familiar figure round the Axe. He also scored 2 goals when our supporter's team beat the other lot's one Boxing day

God rest him. I realised he was ill, but didn't know it was so serious.
