From Brazil To Bangor

Bangor City have announced the signing of Brazilian striker Rodrigo Branco Araujo.

But with international clearance to be be confirmed the 25 year old may have to wait for his Bangor bow.
He was most recently with Tennessee based Knoxville Force in the National Premier Soccer League in the USA.
Born in Brazil Rodrigo played youth football for Sao Bernardo and Sao Paulo before arriving in England via an unsuccessful trial with Blackburn Rovers which led Fleetwood to take a chance on the young striker.
He then played for Lancaster on loan before moving to Malta to play for Floriana in 2013.
Rodrigo then moved to Hastings United and Horsham before moving to Knoxville for the 2015-16 season in a stay cut short by visa restriction.
Now a Portugese passport holder he is available to play for City, once international clearance is secured.
