At tomorrow home a little man will be attending our game, as we look to show support.. Alfie is one of only a handful of children in the UK and approximately 120 in the world suffering from MECP2 duplication syndrome. Our aim is to help Alfie and his family and other people who may suffer from MECP2 duplication syndrome, help raise awareness into this devastating disorder and raise funds for specialist equipment for Alfie.
So please come and show your support tomorrow and meet Alfie, also come an help cheer the ladies on to hopefully another big 3pts...

Just got back from the game girls, nice touch by both teams before kick off in supporting Alfie. I felt in the cold light of day the end result should be seen as a point won rather than 2 lost, the final score of 2-2 was a fair reflection of a very competitive and hard fought game.
If there was an area to draw attention to it would probably be the fact that we weren't competitive enough with them from goal kicks and general 50/50 balls, they too often were given time to deal with the ball as they wished where as some pressure would have made it difficult.
All that said I enjoyed the game, the medical incidents at the end were unfortunate but shouldn't detract from the game itself and hopefully we can come back in our next game to the level of performance we were showing prior to the Cup tie.
