FOUR match would be better, given that the fourth is the quarter final.

We played well against Warrington so I see no reason we can't. If the lads give the same level of effort and form then they should get a deserved win.
Hopefully the good form of the fans will continue as well. There's been a great atmosphere at all our home games since Kendal Town!

Having heard the weather forecast, I wonder what the prospects are of playing tomorrow.

Me too, as I'm thinking of travelling up by train. Is an inspection planned?

Four chances calmly taken. Memo to New Mills: if you catch opposing team ten times in an offside trap, but four scorers are put through one on one with keeper, perhaps it's not a brilliant tactic. Don't want to find fault with a 4-0 win, but I wish we could drive our advantage home more ruthlessly: there was a very long time at 2-0, when if Mills had pulled one back, things could have become panicky. It all came good in the end.

Could have scored at least ten yesterday. After the first 15 minutes it looked like we'd slaughter them but we only really imposed ourselves in the last quarter. Agree with Brocker about their offside tactics When we weren't being flagged offside (rightly or wrongly) we were clean through and probably missed half a dozen clearcut chances. All in all, though, a decent performance against a very poor side, the sort we often struggle against.

Aaron "He's Not Good Enough" Taylor now on 20 goals all competitions. Shhhh.
Would have been nice to score about ten, but 4-0 was still pretty good and there were chances galore. Wind was a bit cold without gloves. Still happy to see the Lancaster ale is £2 a pint in the smaller bar

A busy day for the linesmen! We were caught offside maybe twenty times, but broke the trap another ten. No idea from where I stood whether the decisions were right or wrong. Terrible tactics from New Mills, playing right into our hands, even with Kilifin and Winder not fully fit. Yes, we probably should have scored more, but I'm not complaining.
