So...the Dude's son's cup is the only thing we have left. Do we care? I actually do. Remember the President's Cup

The Prezzy cup was for our league only.
Wouldn't be good playing eg Lynn away on a tues night.
We should play a Strong team in the Lanc's Cup IMO.

The disdain with which we treat the Junior cup makes me wonder just what kind of team we will field for this. As it happens I'm on 2-10 or I would've gone, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are less than 100 there on Tuesday....possibly even less than 75

Personally think we should take this competition seriously, so as to provide a bit of excitement to a, most likely, otherwise uneventful season.

This time we fielded a full strength team and Clitheroe played mainly their reserves. Including a goalkeeper who probably never wants to show his face in public ever again. Having said all that, it was still a very pleasing performance with a lot of skill and good passing movement. The new lad Reece Pearce looks very promising, and Dodger gave more than he often does. We made loads of chances and only had one or two scares at the back the whole game. Goals from Marshall, Pearce, Dodgson, Winder and Taylor. Attendance in double figures.
