Reserves

Our reserves are through to the semi-finals of the Lancashire Cup and will play FC United of Manchester res. on Thursday 1st May at Giant Axe. Hopefully we can get a decent crowd for that one   

The ressies also play their last league game of the season at the Axe this Thursday evening against Ashton Athletic. It's been a long season for our youngsters who have played above themselves against a lot of really experienced and tough opposition, and I'm sure the lads would really appreciate anyone who could make it down and give them some support as they secure a solid mid table finish.

Biggest reserves attendance of the season was about 70 back in September. Would be nice to get that number again or even higher   

Just a shameless bump to remind everyone Thursday night is the last league game for the ressies

Another bump, don't forget the reserves are playing in their cup semi final at Giant Axe Thursday night!

As there's no playoffs there'll be a few first teamers involved.

Ressies lost 2-1 but played very well against one of the best Reserves sides I've seen!

Goal came from Aaron Taylor. Attendance about 100!
