All being kept under wraps apparently as it hasn't been finalised yet.

He'd certainly be the pure goalscorer we're after. I'll admit I did think after Stevie E left the Cupcakes we might be able to pinch a player or two.grahamtheblue wrote:I am not sure...would love to see Connerton back though.
As for tomorrow...have absolutely no idea who's available. Steel was training with the team on Saturday so might not be far away. Ince is anyone's guess. If it's the same squad as Sat + Thompson I'd go for...
Hale
Henry, Thompson, Marshall, Elderton,
Wills, Hunter, Mahoney, Kilifin,
Jackson
Wearing
I'd put Wills in over Winder purely because we're playing Prescot and we know what that means. Bobbly pitch and elbows all over the place. Perfect game for Wills to get stuck into.

No, still out after groin op. Still have him back like a shot though.

Didn't he have surgery just a couple of weeks ago? Agree would have him back in a heart beat.sparrows left peg wrote:No, still out after groin op. Still have him back like a shot though.
Finding a good striker at this level is hard as they never tend to stick around.

Talking of sticking around, wonder what Darren Green makes of the Kendal situation ?

For what it's worth, and that's probably not very much, I don't think it's so much the strikers as the lack of penetrating balls from midfield, I see a lot of effort but little composure and vision. Anyone who knows me will know who I think we need and recent events at Kendal may pave the way should we be interested.

I may well be wrong, quite happily in fact, but I don't see many changes at Kendal.
To my mind he has done the right thing in accepting he cannot handle the football side of things and has moved aside. Honorable, fair enough.
The statement read he would be taking up alternative support roles, if this means leaving his wallet open then they will be fine. Mr Green will still get his "munni"
