It's gonna be car for us pal. Padiham ain't Tue easiest place to get to by train due to the fact that it doesn't have a train station. Nearest stations are Hapton and Rose Grove on the Burnley line but then you've gotta make your way to the ground which is miles away. Best bet would be to get the train to Burnley Central or Manchester Road and get on a bus to Padiham pal and get off a Church St or the Town Hall. As I said car for me.

I've been working out that way today and just checked and there are trains to Rose Grove every hour from Preston and the return is 8 minutes past the hour so therefore they no doubt set off from Burnley earlier and Hapton a couple of minutes later. However there is no bus stop near the station at Rose Grove and its at least a 15 minute walk from the Station to Padiham Rd where you can get a bus to Church Street in Padiham Town Centre which is a five minute walk from the ground. It literally is about 3 miles away from the ground. Like I said you may have to get off at Burnley Central, Burnley Barracks or Burnley Manchester Rd and get a bus from the bus station to Padiham.

A lack of any food, that reid guy and somebody heard telling their players at half time to go and break some legs!
£2.60 a pint did go down well with me though! lol

All that added to the prices being £1 more than last season! I find their "2020 vision" preposterous- they plan, by 2020, to be in the football league and to have built a 6,000 capacity stadium. Despite having not made the playoffs since they have been in our division.
I asked where the toilets were at About 20 to 8 as the old ones had been scrapped behind the stand. I was directed across the car park to the clubhouse (which was not open into the ground until about halftime).
How they plan to build a big enough fanbase to fill their proposed stadium with this level of welcome (no toilets, no food, tickets and programmes more than other teams at this level), I've no idea.
I'm glad I developed a fondness for city rather than my local club, put it that way!
