Playoffs

Can anyone explain how we will lose 4 clubs through relegation and promotion, gain 5 clubs the same way, but stay with 22 teams in the Premier League next season?

My guess is that the FA will decide on the allocations based on the comment below about the playoff winners from Step 4
Only one team gets relegated from Conference North and presumably the three top teams from the Step 5 divisions are guaranteed their places. But only time will tell!
"Belper Town, Marine and Marske United will all play in Step 3 next season - with league allocations due to be confirmed by the FA over the summer".

From what I can tell, Liversedge, Marske, Warrington Rylands and Marine will all be promoted to the Premier. Witton and Grantham are relegated, and it looks like Guiseley will come down from National League North, so that makes 23 teams in our league next season, unless some club is moved sideways.

Presumably there will be some nonsensical geographic hokey pokey done by the FA/league management. Probably end up with Kings Lynn in our division

Given that Guiseley have now been relegated, we are presumably going to lose one club based on geography. The Southern Premier only has 21 teams at present, so we could lose a Midlands club.

Well I was half right. Didn't expect to lose two teams and didn't expect Belper to be in our league. As a Midlands Dolly, I'm a little disappointed, but still a good few games local to me.
