Police are investigating an "incident" at Saturday's game, an assault by all accounts.

Clearly not good, particularly since we are trying to get a fan on the board.'

Not good indeed, but......perhaps all the more reason to have a fan on the Board to respond to any such incidents.

What "incident" ? I presume it happened after the game as I noticed nothing happen during it. Very sad, if the police are involved,presumably the FA will be too?

I take it from the slant of the postings that we know the police are investigating somebody 'associated' with our club as opposed to a visiting supporter.

I think it has pretty much scuppered our chances of getting a fan on the board from what I'm hearing, whether it's just an easy excuse or not is another matter.

Why should one incident stop us getting someone on the board. Even if it is someone paying into the club the other 50 or so are not guilty of anything.

I would have thought that it increases the urgency of our having somebody on the board to cope with any such incidents. After all, at the previous meeting at which mention of "undesirables" allegedly arose, the directors were suggesting precisely that: that any such incidents should be taken in hand by the supporters.
