Credit to the visitors for trying to play football all the way through, easy win in the end and thanks and goodbye to Marshie.

In the first half we did our usual thing of sinking to the level of poor opposition. Emerged for the second half a different side. Brilliant play by Dan Shearwood (my MoM, with all due respect to Ricky)in the build up to the first goal, and a fine volley by Ricky from RW's corner for the second. One good save by Mike in the first half, but he was largely a spectator after HT. Tremendous scenes at the end as Marshy received the adulation he deserves. Congratulations to Phil for turning the season around. Also to the ground staff, for ensuring very few postponements: the value of points in the bag over games in hand was demonstrated as those teams with games in hand on us failed to capitalise. If only six or seven of those FIFTEEN draws had been turned into wins. Great promise for next season.
