I said South Shields but this is equally as tough. They've won seven of the last eight games {Losing to us} and have been beaten at home only once {to Mickleover who we drew with}. Having said that, Sutton Coldfield beat them, as well as us, and they look shite. I'm sure we'll be up for the fight and have been to tougher places before i.e. Spennymoor.

Sods law that we've drawn them. They will be out for revenge and given their previous performance I don't mean that in a footballing way. The lads may want to invest in Petr Cech style headgear or insist that their players wear elbow pads.

Busy week at work that week - last thing I need is a replay! So bound to be a draw - City to progress in a replay. It's our year this year.

Buy Rod Stewart a drink & get him on the job :-)))
Think you've been on it with him, looking at your typing Lash.

Didn't go yesterday. Anybody got anything to say, apart from the fact we lost?

Had a couple of half chances, Harries hit down the keeper's throat from the edge of the box with the last kick of the game. Two soft goals from crosses, they were physical but clever with it. It didn't look like a poor performance, I've seen far worse, more just anonymous. Kilifin was in their pocket all day.
Brown went to 5-3-2 after we went 2-1 down, that was strange.

Seems like the 3rd Qualifying Round is our limit lately.Defeats to Halifax,Kings Lynn, Kiddy and now Shaw Lane in recent years.Let's hope for a run in the Trophy and a bit more cash in the kitty.

Shaw Lane managed to draw Barrow at home in the 4th Qualifying round. Not sure how the draw works but I wouldn't have minded that for us.

With farsley now also idle on Saturday 14th seems a shame not to reschedule that game again from Tuesday 7th November. Could be two months without a Saturday home game until we host coalville on 18th otherwise, although I'm sure its easier said than done to arrange these things!
