Superb signing, a winger who will run at a full back!

Interesting to note that on their forum, bitter Mintcakes reckon Zach Clark 'has no pace and is overweight' !!
Also some wag reckons we've put seven days on Bailey, Carney and Connerton with Mike Hale going the other way....Reeeeeally !!

They put 7 days on Mike Hale as soon as Darren left, which was 9 days ago,so It'll be interesting to see if he plays for us this evening. I'm pretty sure that Connie is on contract there & I can't imagine us paying a fee for him. Be interesting to see of PJB can get in Craig's ear though!
Do you know that I can't remember which side Zach plays, but I think it's down the left. If Ryan Winder plays as he did on Saturday & with Zach down the left (if I'm right about that....lol) it'll offer us some real width for a change.Welcome home Zach!!

Me thinks he's cup-tied tonight, he came on as a sub for the Mintcakes in the Trophy on Sat. He's a right-winger all told but can play down either flank. If he's on the right, Ryan Winder could come central putting a bit of pressure on Billy Akrigg. Mind you I'm sure they'll be a few comings and goings once PJB gets his feet under the table. Whatever happens tonight, we have to start climbing the league table.

Doh ! Well 4 on Saturday will do instead
Whilst I'm on with goals - who's thinks like me that we need a couple more upfront (be great to unearth another Connie)

Nah, we don't want another Connerton, we want the original one back...please. Can't see it happening mind but you can dream. I do agree though we are desperately short of firepower up front.....mind you I've seen Zach up front before now.

He may have returned but again nothing on the website, nor Aaron Helliwell who may or may not have signed. As I write, we're still playing Northwich !!
