Matlock

Can see why they're top of the table, they're very good at what they do. It's not football as we know it but they are certainly s good team. By team I mean a group of individuals willing to give their all for the cause. They're s big horrible side with the worst hairstyles I've seen at the Axe in s long time. Top of the league in this respect was the (very poor) Grealish impersonator.
Not really any complaints, they were very good at what they do & despite trying very hard we couldn't compete. If the ball had bounced our way in their box a couple of times we could've got something out of this, but teams that work as hard as Matlock do make their own luck. Fair play to them for that.
No complaints from me about our effort or team spirit, we'll win games playing like we did.
Both of their goals were give aways, the first a horrible mix up between Teague & the keeper leading to a tap in & the second a good finish but he was completely unmarked & we maybe should've stopped it in midfield

Seen the first goal online. Awful to watch hopefully as Felly said we can go into the New Year still in the hunt. I said last week that summat to play for in Feb/March is good but at this rate that’s not looking likely haha

Well I am delighted we won;. We could have been given a kinder draw-but certainly winnable.

Me too! If nothing else the money will be handy. I always like to go as far as possible in the Trophy. You just never know do you?
I agree we could've had a kinder draw, but it's certainly a winnable game.
I guess it'll take place a week on Saturday?
