What a game! Cracking entertainment for the neutral but heartbreak for a dollyblue. Defensive frailties exposed again as we went two down in the first half. Fought back and dominated the second half but got suckered again for 3-1. Fought back again to draw level and would have been good value for the draw but then gave away a free kick on the edge of the penalty area in the 95th minute. You could have predicted the outcome and even though it was a well-struck free kick it should never have happened.
Random observations from yesterday:
1. Substitutions worked well with goals from Jarvo and Craig coming off the bench.
2. Gav Clark would probably have played had he stayed with us. Not one of Ben's best games. At fault for the first goal.
3.Still no start for Charlie Bailey. Not even used as a sub.
4.We are leaking goals away from home. We seem unable to keep sides out for long enough to get a foothold in games and end up chasing games. Need Steve Williams back to shore up the defence.

We tried to play football all day and I'm the second half we were a team reignited. Or just ignited because we weren't to start with.

Also, Sam Bailey's shot cannoned off Kilifin's arse and looped in so I wonder who's been given that goal.

If I was Killer, i'd be claiming it. Might get him a start on Tuesday.

From his reaction after the goal, I would say he definitely thought it was his.

Evostik site have given it to Sam, so I'm putting my money in for netbusters.

Wasn't there, but my thoughts are as follows........Obviously a disappointing result, but I'm cheered by the fact that we showed enough resilience & team spirit (ie balls) to get back into it, that we scored 3 goals away from home, & that our substitutions were effective

I've given it Killer in the LG so that's that!
